Right of withdrawal

Under Articles 52 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005), if you buy as a consumer you may withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days of the day you, or a person you designate, receive the product. For orders delivered in several parcels, the period starts from delivery of the last product.

To withdraw, simply send a clear statement to info@digitalservicediamante.it before the period expires. You may use the form at the bottom of this page, but it is not required.

How to return a product

After your request we email you a return authorisation number and the address to ship the parcel to. The product must be sent back within 14 days of your withdrawal notice.

• The product must be intact, complete with accessories, manuals and original packaging.
• Pack the product properly to avoid damage in transit.
• Write the order number and authorisation number on or inside the parcel.
• Keep the shipping receipt until you receive your refund.

Return shipping costs

Return shipping costs are paid by the customer. If the product arrived faulty, damaged or different from what you ordered, we cover the collection.

You are liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.

Refund

We refund the full amount paid, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until we have received the product or proof that it has been shipped.

Refunds are issued to the same payment method used for the purchase at no extra cost to you. Crediting times then depend on your bank or card network.

Exclusions

Under Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• sealed software, licences and media that have been unsealed after delivery;
• products made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised, such as PCs assembled to a customer-requested configuration;
• purchases made as a business or professional with a VAT number.

Faulty products and warranty

All new products are covered by the 24-month legal guarantee of conformity from delivery (Articles 128 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code). If a product is defective you are entitled to free repair or replacement and, if neither is possible, to a price reduction or termination of the contract.

If a product arrives damaged or not working, email us within a few days of delivery with photos or a short description of the problem and we will arrange collection. For some brands the warranty may be handled directly by the manufacturer; in that case we will point you to the fastest procedure.
